Guided country walks & local history

St John Chapel
For guests who want to walk with a guide, to experience a particular country path, or to learn more about local history, architecture and folklore, we offer the following guided walks.

Why to walk with a guide?

Walking with a local guide has many advantages than walking on your own, such as:
  • You will see places that you would never find on your own.
  • Many paths are difficult to find and not shown on maps or described in guide books.
  • The guide usually speaks the local language and can tell you a lot about the flora and fauna, history, local customs and many other things.
  • Nice atmosphere of the group.
  • Often at the end of the walk we eat and drink something altogether.
